I'm doing an upgrade + DMO from ECC 6.04 to 6.07, Oracle to HANA.
Sum was runnning for more than 50 hours, and suddenly this error appears in my browser.
Document does not exist
How can I solve this issue?
SUM Version is SP16.

SUM - question about report RSUPG_SPDD_RESET_CANDIDATES
Dear Experts,
I am now implementing SPS12 on a NetWeaver 7.4 system. In the SPDD phase of SUM, the tool is mentioning
the report above.
In the log file, there is 1 table proposed. So I decided to have a look at the report:
But for me, it's not really clear what these parameters stand for. TRKORR is probably some transport, but
which one ? The SPDD transport, which I've created ? What has to be done here ?
I will most probably just go ahead, as I don't have much time to spend on that - is this going to have some
impact, or it's OK to skip this ? I've checked the SUM guide, but it keeps it very general on that topic, without
any specific instructions. Also when googling, there were hardly any hit results about that report.

DistMon export/import didn't imported package, function etc
Hi,
We are working on SAP system's OS migration and DB is just upgrading from 11G to 12C. We used distmon to migrate. It seems the distmon tool imported tables, views, indexes but not imported function, view, type body, package, package body, procedure, sequence and type. Here is the summary- You can see there are 3 function imported but no package, package body, procedure, sequence etc imported into target. Please suggest

Not able to start SUM in Windows Server
While starting SUM tool I am getting below error. I have tried with both SIDADM & ADMINISTRATOR ID. But still having the same issue

User permissions for obs in SUM Observer Monitor
Dear experts,
Recently, SUM 1.0 SP17 is released. It introduces the SUM Obsever Monitor.
According to the latest SP 17 SUM guide, to visit the obsever monitor, we have to create a user <sid>obs on OS level.
What kind of permission should I give to this user when I create it on OS level?
1, On Linux based systems, what kind of permissions? (For Linux, in the guide, I can find that I need to add it to the sapsys group. But how about other permissions?)
2, On Windows, what kind of permissions?

We would like to automate the installation with SUM of NW because as a service provider we have to industrialize the installations.
Can anyone, Boris for shure, tell us or give us informations about the batch file in SUM ?

Error in phase MAIN_NEWBAS/UVERS_UP_S!
Hi experts.
We are in a project to upgrade our PI from 7.02 SP16 to 7.5 SP02, Oracle 12, Linux RedHat 6.3, and in the execution step show us this error:
Last error code set: RFC error system SID nr 11 function 'SUBST_HANDLE_UVERS' failed with code 3 key
DBSQL_NO_MORE_CONNECTION: No resources available for further secondary database connections.
Have you ever seen this error before?
We didn't find SAP Notes to help us.

Hana Hardwarecheck on virtual machine - RHEL
Hi Experts,
I deployed a virtuel machine with RHEL on AWS to install SAP HANA on it.
I downloaded all packages which are necessary for the installation and I am starting the intallation via XMING according to the youtube video of SAP HANA Acadamy.
After I started the installation I got the following error report.

DMO-The tool is not running
Hi All,
While using the DMO(database migration option) feature in SUM SP9, UI frequently displays the message "Tool start required" and "The tool is not running".
In one of the DMO documents found that restarting the SAP hostagent should help, i have restarted the hostagent and then logged in, same message. Please suggest.

List "Inactive Objects and Open Repairs" before SUM-Start
Hi all
I'd like to know if/how it is possible to simulate SUM-Phase REPACHK / REPACHK2
We want get the list of "inactive objects" and "locked SAP objects" that this step logs before starting SUM, so our developer are able to work on their issues.
I can get the information maybe from E070 or SE03, but it's not as nice to work with as when executing above phase.
I realized the function modules SUBST_GET_INACTIVE_SAP_OBJECTS and SUBST_GET_OPEN_SAPOBJ_TAS_REPS are responsible for this but I'm not able to execute them in a system where SUM is not yet started.
Any hints on that issue are highly appreciated.

Help needed - CTS+ transports getting stuck
Dear Experts,
A Solution Manager system has CTS+ configured and transports for Portal systems are being moved.
Today 2 transports have got stuck while being imported in the PRD system, without showing any errors
in the transport logs.
Just the tp commands are hanging and in STMS the transports are being shown with RC=0, but in the
most right column. there is a truck icon, saying Import running.
We have killed the tp processes and restarted the transports, but the situation is still the same - the
transports got stuck again.
Please kindly advise where to look - there are no entries for these transports in any tables like TRBAT,
TRJOB, TPSTAT, no errors in any logs where I was checking.
In the Overview of Transport Logs, there are those fields:
Selection for Import <timestamp> (0) Successfully Completed
Import <timestamp> (0) Successfully Completed
Perviously, these transports have been successfully imported in DEV and QAS and I have seen, that
wherever the import was successful, there is also an additional field, called Deployment, which is not
displayed in the logs of the stuck transports on the PRD system. I have no idea why is that.
I know, that I'm not providing much info, but I really have no idea what else to check, what to look for.
I have nearly no practical experience with CTS+...
Please kindly give me some advice, this is very very urgent and has to be solved ASAP!!

Upgrade of SAP_GWFND750001 -> locked against OCS package import

I'm trying to upgrade Componente

2 ETQ373 parameter "EV_MESSAGE" = "Component SAP_GWFND is locked against OCS package imports"
Going into SPAM looking at the queue it also tells me
"Component SAP_GWFND is locked against OCS package imports" - Checking the help button also reveals "System admin (user D025011) has locked component SAP_GWFND against OCS Package imports." A user with this name does not exist.
There are no tranpsorts unreleased which might lock objects.
I have exactly the same issue on another application server with just Netweaver 7.5 (without S/4)
So my question are:
Why is it locked?
How to unlock it?
Is it locked by SAP? (liked it happend back with the with EA_HR in Note (1895406)
Anyone else had this Problem?

System copy setup target system R3load
I try to do a system copy from prod to an existing qas using hte r3load method. I'm using the latest swpm and the kernle belonign to this swpm.
I have 2 questions.
1. I want to uninstall the DB only using the sapinst. It won't let me. (options grayed out) Only listener is running and all instances are stopped.
Why not..
2. Installing the target system using the created export from PROD does not go any further then installing common file systems. (2nd step) It doesn't report any errors but just doesn't do anything. Only messags appearing are messageas about directories that do already exist with a nothing to do message.
it's a UNIX system running Oracle.

Error in EHP8 in Phase MAIN_NEWBAS/TABIM_UPG
We are doing an EHP upgrade from SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 to EHP8. In the Execution Phase MAIN_NEWBAS/TABIM_UPG we got the following error in SUM:

4 ETW000 R3TR TABU CVERS_REF was already imported successfully.

But if we check the logs (SAPICCI752.SB1) we can see a lot of this entries and we cannot see that this is a real error. We tried to replace tp.exe, r3trans.exe and dbmssslib.dll and repeat the phase (with INIT) but the error is still the same. Also replaced the whole kernel with the newest one from SWDC (Kernel 7.45 PL 200).
Used SUM version is SP17 Patch 02, Database MSSQL 2012
We opened an Incident (202108 / 2016)one week ago but SAP Support seems not to be able to work on it (no solution provided, no feedback except initial check).
Any idea what the problem could be?

SUM tool gives Document does not exist error
Hi,
I am trying to run SUM on our server. It is version SUM10SP16_11-20006540.SAR. The SAP HOSTAGENT is 7.21 sp14. I had to update the SAPHOST agent to 7.21 sp14 as the previous version was too low.
I ran the command as root ./STARTUP confighostagent <my SID> to register SUM.
When I start SUM http://< my HOSTNAME>:1128/lmsl/sumabap/LRN/doc/sluigui I get a login prompt. I put in my SAP<sid> user and password.
I then get the message "Document does not exist"
It is an AIX v6.1 system.
It worked in our DEV and QAS boxes. I am now attempting PRD and it is failing.
Any ideas?

sapinst SAPINST_REMOTE_ACCESS_USER not working
Hi All,
I'm trying to run sapinst with the options -nogui SAPINST_REMOTE_ACCESS_USER=username SAPINST_REMOTE_ACCESS_USER_IS_TRUSTED=true
using a domain admin account on Windows Server 2012 R2.
I am running the latest patch Version 2016.06.1
The problem comes about when trying to start sapinstgui, it doesn't recognise the account that's specified with SAPINST_REMOTE_ACCESS_USER=
saying the username doesn't exist even though it does.
If I run sapinst myself specifying myself with the above option I can login!
Any ideas what's causing this?
